Harper Steinbach; Illustrator and Engagement Artist.
Harper Steinbach is an Art Director, Crafter, and Visual Artist living and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They received a degree in Art History and Museum Studies from Seattle Pacific University in 2018. Currently, Harper is the Art Director for Crafty Queers Club, a local creative hang for queer adults. In addition, Harper also consults organizations and businesses on reaching audiences through visual placemaking. Steinbach works to achieve client-focused ideas and community collaboration in all of her work. Inspired by community conversations, creative problem-solving, and visual storytelling.
Their work has been shown with a variety of clients including: Ohio State University, Seattle Pacific University, Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), Children’s Hospital, Queermunity, St. Olaf, YELP Minneapolis, Minneapolis Institute of Arts, the Minneapolis International Airport,the Minneapolis Parks Board, The Compassion Museum, and Silverwood Park. Harper was the recent recipient of a 2023 Minnesota State Arts Board Creative Support for Individuals Grant.
In their spare time you can find them hanging out with their spouse, Jess, and their roommate (Leah the dog).
